Invisible or clear braces are similar to Invisalign and are a clear acrylic aligner that fit perfectly to the outside of your teeth. Because they provide a subtle solution that is barely visible, invisible braces are a popular choice with adult looking to straighten their teeth. Most cases will take around six months to straighten your teeth. A variety of different sets of clear braces will be made to help progress your teeth through the treatment until all the teeth are aligned to your satisfaction. You will need to attend for appointments every four to six weeks so the dentist can assess progress and issue new aligners when required.
Following treatment you will need to wear retainers to ensure that your teeth do not move back to their original position.
- Virtually invisible – someone will need to look very closely to see that you are wearing invisible braces
- Little effect on daily life – aligners can be removed to eat and drink and so you can complete your oral hygiene routine, ensuring that the aligners will not intrude on your daily life.
- Improve the health of your teeth and gums – properly aligned teeth can decrease the stress on your jaw and reduce the risk of tooth damage
