How long does it take to become a specialist orthodontist?
Specialist orthodontists will undergo 5 years of undergraduate training, followed by 2 – 4 years of vocational training. This is followed by 3 years of specialist orthodontic training and exams which allow the dentist to register with the General Dental Council and use the term “specialist”.
When should I choose a specialist orthodontist?
